Tip Sheets

There are now over five million Americans with Alzheimer’s disease, including 1/3 of everyone over age 85. Because of the growing number of aging baby boomers, and the fact that the onset of Alzheimer’s is primarily age-related, the number of Americans with Alzheimer’s is projected to rise by more than 55% by 2030. By 2050, as many as 7 million people age 85 and older may have Alzheimer’s disease, accounting for half (51%) of all people 65 and older with Alzheimer’s.
